William Raymond Trujillo

William Raymond Trujillo, 81, of Pueblo, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2024. Born on April 26, 1942, to Raymondo Trujillo and Estefana (Vigil) Trujillo in Walsenburg, Colorado, William, affectionately known as Bill, was a man of integrity and warmth. Bill leaves behind a loving family: his daughter, Janet (Michael) Souza of Green River, Wyoming, son, William (Chantell) Trujillo of Westminster, Colorado and daughter, Alice Pushee of Denver, Colorado, former wife, mother of his children, friend and nurse, Margaret Borrego of Westminster Colorado; his stepchildren, Melinda (Sam) Lara, James Medina, and Shelly Ortivez, of Pueblo Colorado, and a legacy that includes 15 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren who brought him immense joy. His passing was preceded by his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia Trujillo, his parents, Raymondo and Estefana Trujillo, brother, Raymondo Trujillo, Jr, sister, Elisa Vallejos and daughter, Felicia Flores. Bill attended schools in Walsenburg and Pueblo. Throughout his life since 1962, Bill was a dedicated employee at the Colorado State Hospital until he retired at age 55. His commitment to his work was evident to all who knew him. His colleagues will remember him for his professionalism and caring nature. Bill's lifelong hobby was playing the trumpet, a passion he pursued since he was eight years old. His musical talent was a source of great pleasure not only to him but also to those who had the privilege of listening to his performances. A gathering to honor and remember Bill will be held on February 6, 2024, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1706 Roselawn Rd, Pueblo, Colorado 81006. Viewing from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm. Entombment will be on February 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them in commemorating a life well-lived. Roselawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Trujillo. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the compassionate care and support during this time.
