Patricia Ann Klomp

Patricia Ann Klomp was born August 18, 1938 to Pete and Ella Pisciotta in Pueblo, Colorado. She joined her parents; her brother, Joe; and sister, Carmella in Heaven on June 21, 2025. She will forever be loved and missed by her husband of 63 years, John; son, Michael (Darryl); daughters, Michele, and Kim (Carlos); 6 grandchildren, Mitchell, Sarah, Karly, Josh, Kelsi, and Mark; 2 great granddaughters, Eloise and Maive. Pat also leaves behind her sister-in-law and best friend, Marilou Pisciotta; brother-in-law, Frank Jordan; brother-in-law, Tom (Martha) Klomp; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Pat truly loved and is terribly missed by her pups Trooper and Rocky. Pat spent most of her career as a teacher at Avondale Elementary School. Over 30 plus years, she inspired the lives of her students and coworkers. After her retirement she continued her service as a volunteer with the YWCA and Assistance League of Pueblo. She believed with her whole heart that every child deserved the best chance to succeed. Pat received numerous awards including the Colorado State Teacher of the Year award. Anna Taussing tribute to women award and the proclamation that September 15th is Pat Klomp day in the city and county of Pueblo. Pats devotion to God and her Catholic Faith were at the center of her life. As a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Community, she was very involved in the CCW (Council of Catholic Women) parish council and was the chair person at the St Joseph table for 13 years. She began and ended everyday talking to God in prayer. One of Pats great joys was working in her yard. She spent hours making sure her yard was perfect without a weed in sight. She loved the family cabin in Southfork where so many memories were made. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, hope and faith. We would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and Cornerstone caregiving for their devotion to her and our family. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at St Joseph Parish followed by inurnment at Roselawn Cemetery.
