In Loving Memory of Meg Sena July 25, 1947 – October 17, 2025 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret “Meg” Sena, a beloved wife, stepmother, sister, and cherished friend, who departed this life on October 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Meg was born on July 25, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Nick and Margaret Paris of Clearwater, Florida. She was also preceded in death by her cherished sister, Laurie Claire of Dunedin, Florida. Meg is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, John Sena, who was not only her lifelong partner but also her truest companion and best friend. Together, they shared an enduring bond built on deep love, laughter, and mutual respect—a love story that stood the test of time. She also leaves behind her loving stepdaughters, Debbie Sena Singh of Denver, Colorado, and Rebecca Valentine of Thornton, Colorado, both of whom she treasured as her own. Meg lived a life filled with warmth, creativity, and compassion. From an early age, she displayed a remarkable zest for life and an array of talents that reflected her vibrant personality. In her youth, she was a champion roller skater, dazzling audiences with her grace, precision, and dedication to her sport. She was also an accomplished accordion musician, bringing joy to those around her with her love of music and performance. Early in her career, Meg followed in her father Nick’s footsteps, who was a tavern owner throughout Meg’s childhood and became an expert in the hospitality industry. She managed the renowned Mr. A’s discotheque during the height of the disco era, transforming it into the hottest nightclub in Pueblo! For many years, she also managed the Pueblo West Inn, where she had an uncanny ability to make patrons feel welcome, creating lifelong customers who returned repeatedly just to see Meg. Meg was truly a remarkable businesswoman who possessed the talent to draw crowds to her establishments. Throughout her life, Meg’s many passions reflected her love for beauty and expression. She had a keen eye for interior decorating, transforming every space she touched into something elegant, welcoming, and full of life. Her home was truly a reflection of her spirit—warm, stylish, and brimming with character. Meg also loved gardening, and the simple joy of seeing her plants and flowers bloom was one of her greatest pleasures. An avid reader, Meg found comfort and inspiration in books, magazines, and the local newspaper and could often be found with one in her hand, savoring quiet moments of reflection. She also loved shopping, music, and the arts, and delighted in exploring new finds, whether it was a piece of décor, a unique piece of clothing that touched her heart, or a work of art that spoke to her creative soul. Above all, Meg’s heart belonged to her family, beautiful friends, and her beloved animals. She had an extraordinary love for all creatures, especially her loyal dog, Jasper, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Meg’s compassion for animals was a testament to her gentle and nurturing nature—she truly saw beauty and worth in every living being. Those who knew Meg will remember her as fiercely loyal, protective, and deeply loving. She was a woman who stood by those she cared for, who gave selflessly, and who always knew how to make others feel special. Her kindness and charisma drew people to her wherever she went—from family and lifelong friends to neighbors, acquaintances, and even the clerks she met during her shopping trips and errands. Meg had a way of brightening every interaction with her infectious smile, wit, and genuine warmth. To her husband, John, she was the love of his life, a constant source of strength and joy. To her stepdaughters, she was a source of love, laughter, and guidance. To her friends and neighbors, she was a beacon of light—someone who made every day a little brighter. Meg’s passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit, grace, and love will live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Her legacy is one of beauty, kindness, and connection—a reminder of how a life well-lived can continue to inspire long after it is gone. Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colorado, with an Italian luncheon reception to follow.
