Sam Spinuzza Jr.

Sam Spinuzza, Jr., 86 of Pueblo. passed away quietly, Dec 24, 2015. A Pueblo native, he was born, April 6, 1929 to Sam and Josephine Spinuzza. Preceded in death by his parents and older sister, Josephine (John) Arcara. Survived by his sister, Constance (Bill) Roberts; nephews, John (Lisa) Arcara. Bill (Cindy) Roberts, Jim (Jeanette) Roberts, Lee (Ute) Roberts,; and nice, Mary Ann Snyder; along with numerous great nieces and nephews. His formative years were spent in Gunnison where he attended high school and Western State College, after which he enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Camp Atterbury. When he was discharged, he went into the family business and became a master plumber for the next 35 years. After his retirement, he worked for Pueblo County as an assessor. Sam was an active member of his community and an original member of Christ the King church. He was involved in many fraternal organizations such as Knights of Columbus, the Eagles, and the Elks Clubs in both Pueblo and Gunnison. He also held official offices with the Colorado Democratic Party. Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Christ the King Church. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
