Philip James Anaya
May 22, 1972 - January 27, 2022
Philip James Anaya passed away on January 27, 2022, in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 49. He was a loving husband and soulmate to Jessica for over 23 years and an incredible father to 6 beautiful daughters, all of which worshipped the ground he walked on. He was a proud King Soopers employee for 29 years and always placed emphasis in putting his best foot forward each and every day. He was a man who devoted his life to God and his family and was the kind of soul who never hesitated to help others. His hobbies included dancing in the kitchen with his wife, while they cooked for friends and family, fly fishing and taking field trips with his family. There are no words to describe the loss his family has endured. Life for them will never be the same. His love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those blessed to have known him. The family would like to say a special thank you to Joni Fair Hospice House and their staff for providing Philip and his family love, compassion, and dignity during his last days on Earth. In death there is beauty, and you all made that possible. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Anaya; and grandparents, Lloyd and Masie Anaya. Philip is survived by his loving wife Jessica Marie; and adoring daughters, Kacey (Cale) Turner, Ryan Anaya, Chloe (Carlos) Anaya-Salazar, Jazmyne Anaya, Jade Anaya, and Brooklynn Anaya; parents, Philip (Kelly) Anaya and Lori (Skip) Stilson; and siblings, Aaron and Carrie Anaya. At Philip’s request, no services will take place.
