Laura Renee Abeyta Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Laura Renee Abeyta, 44, wen to be with the Lord January 27,2022 on a beautiful snowy morning surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, and uncle Tony. Laura is survived by her children, Curtis Valdez, Mariah Valdez, and Cassie Valdez; 4 grandchildren; dad, Ray (Adriana) Abeyta; mother, Jacqueline (Orly) DeAnda-Chacon; brothers, Raymond Abeyta, Eli Lopes, Joe “Tony” Abeyta, and Andy Abeyta; sisters, Jolene Abeyta, Alieen Morales, Veronica Rodriguez, Lori Lopes-Sanchez, and Nadine Lopes-Gurule; aunts, Betty, and Mary DeAnda; uncles, Elmo (Josie) Abeyta, and Richard (Liz) Abeyta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Laura was an extremely strong, amazing and loving mom, daughter, sister, and friend to so many. Even through the diagnosis she received, Laura never let it get her down. In fact, she had big plans for her future with her family and was sad to say goodbye. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all of her friends and family. A Celebration of Life will at 7pm tonight, February 4, 2022 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Pueblo, Co. with Mass of Resurrection 3pm Monday, February 7, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Manassa, Co. where Laura made her First Communion and was an Altar Server. Inurnment at Los Cerritos Cemetery.
