Keenan L. Jimenez, 56, Passed away December 10,2021 after a long and courageous battle with COVID. Keenan is survived by his loving mother, Arlene Beltran (Chris); father Manuel Jimenez. Keenan's special bond with his godmother Shirley Garduno who in his own words was his second mom can't be forgotten. He was also survived by his brother David (Margie) Jimenez; Sister Lisa (John) Martinez; his children Alyson Meyer (Mike), Alejandra Jimenez, Noah Jimenez; Amanda Jimenez; nephews John(Sara) Martinez, Andrew Martinez. Keenan was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins along with numerous friends he crossed paths with during his journey here on earth. Keenan loved his family unconditionally and would always offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Keenan loved the outdoors and fishing as a child and into his later years. Keenan loved playing his saxophone throughout his life along with taking a nice ride on his motorcycle. Keenan was a lover of food and embraced the nickname "Garbage", because even though he had a smaller stature, he could eat anyone under the table. He loved taking care of his home and doing for others using the carpentry skills he learned as a boy watching his Grandpa Manuel and his incredible ability to fix and build anything to perfection. He always took pride in the things he did for others to include relatives and friends. Keenan had a quick wit and a infectious laugh that would fill a room. That laugh will surely be missed by those that knew and loved him. Keenan was a college educated Mechanical Engineer until he decided to switch gears by opening his own American Family Insurance Agency earning numerous accolades until his retirement. Keenan's biggest loves were his children who sadly lost there loving father at such a young age. Keenan is now making all the loved ones we lost before laugh with him once again and saving us a spot for all to re-unite when that joyous time comes. Services and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date that will be determined soon. Here is a poem that Keenan's mom Arlene felt summed up her feelings after Keenan's passing. The Heavenly gates stood open that long and painful day farewells were left unspoken as you slowly slept away Beautiful memories of you sprayed with a million tears. How we wish, God had spared you for, Just a few more years. Thank you for the love you gave us thank you for the love we shared we only pray that when you left you knew how much we cared This is for someone wonderful as loved as one could be for you were everything in life you meant the world, you see And sometimes life can be unkind When hearts are torn into But nothing ever could compare to the pain of losing you But all the love you left behind forever will live on. And so until we meet again rest peacefully my son.
