John A. Daurio Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John A. Daurio Sr., 87, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away peacefully on June 20, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Charlene Daurio; his parents, Nunziato and Rose Daurio; father-in-law, Mike Fabrizio; brother, Louis and Helen Daurio; and sisters, Virginia and Pete Pisciotta, Angie and Jerry Giarratano; John is survived by his children, Nick (Lisa) Daurio, John Daurio Jr., Ronald Daurio, and Michael (Dawn) Daurio; his grandchildren, Jenna (Matt) Samek, Greg Daurio, Johnathan (Ashley) Daurio, Phillip (Leah) Daurio, Abigail Daurio, Amber (Michael) Shirley, and Whitney Daurio; six great-grandchildren; along with many other special friends and family members. John founded Daurio Auto-Truck Inc. in 1957. It has expanded into a 3rd generation business due to his leadership and success. John’s greatest passion in life was loving and supporting his family. He loved taking time to watch his sons play baseball when they were younger, and the many various sports and activities his grandchildren were involved in. John was an avid golfer and fisherman. His favorite times were spending summers in Gunnison, Colo., and winters in Phoenix, Ariz., with his wife, Charlene. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Ave., with Pastor Steve Chavez presiding. Graveside burial at Roselawn Cemetery and reception to follow at Praise Assembly. In lieu of food or flowers, donations may be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice or a charity of your choice in honor of John A. Daurio Sr. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 26th, Monday, June 27th, and Tuesday June 28, at John’s home. Online condolences can be made at roselawnpueblo.org
