Evangelina Aragon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Evangelina Aragon, 87, of Pueblo, was born February 18, 1935, and went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Patricio Aragon, and her parents. Evangelina is survived by her children, Evelyn (Andy), Arthur, Pat, JoAnn (Joe), Sharon (Mary), Gloria (Rolando), Donna, Antonio (Amy), Janet, MaryAnn, and Wendy (Nick); she is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise and Elizabeth and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She loved to cook and eat all of her favorite foods. She enjoyed gardening, and earlier in life she spent time working in the fields. Evangelina loved to listen to Mexican music and dance the night away, she would even hum and sing songs to herself. She loved to dress up for Halloween, work on word searches and wear her best makeup, jewelry, and painted nails. She attended Belmont Senior Care Day Program and loved her time there and their staff. She also loved attending the Colorado State Fair every year. Most importantly Evangelina loved spending time with her family, they will forever love and deeply miss her. The family would like to thank Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their special care, especially nurse Tom. An extra special thanks to Mary, Sharon and Samantha for the love and care they gave to our mom. A viewing will be held from 4pm-6pm Monday, July 18, 2022, with a Funeral Service 10am Tuesday, July 19, 2022, both Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
