Emilio “Moe” Thomas entered this life Nov 14, 1936 and departed Dec 21, 2017 to join his parents, Frank and Adeline (nee Rossorelli) Thomas. Leaving behind to mourn his loss and celebrate his life are his sisters, Florence (Jay) Dammann, Frances (Bob) Birx; nephews, and nieces, Mike (Diane) Dammann, Karen (Kevin Sausker) Dammann, David (Wendi) Dammann, John (Pamela) Birx, and Robin (Robb) Sus; seven great nieces and nephews, and several cousins. Moe also leaved behind his coffee klatch family of many dear friends at Casper’s, McDonald, and Romero’s. He attended Pueblo Catholic High, Pueblo Junior College, and graduated from Western State College in Gunnison. He worked as a laborer, teacher and other jobs before finding his niche at the Pueblo County Road & Bridge Dept. Moe retired as Purchasing Agent for Pueblo County. He was the consummate baseball fan. Moe attended St Joseph Church in Blende, but due to the parish undergoing renovations, his Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Fri, December 29, 2017 with viewing prior to service, at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church, Red Creek Springs Road. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
