Elizabeth A. Boling Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

To everyone, she was Elizabeth Boling, but to us, she was Grandma. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts on June 8, 1944. She later moved to Colorado in 1957 with her family. She persued an education in Behavioral Sciences. Before graduating from Loretto Heights College, she found the love of her life, Phil Boling. Soon afterwards, the two got married on May 25, 1968. With 51 years of marriage, Phil and Liz were blessed with two sons, James and Scott, along with many grandchildren, Keyara, Alaura, Jacob, Rose, Kevin, Chase, Chyler, and one great grandson, Jeffrey who she loved dearly. Throughtout those years she has made a tremendous impact on countless people's lives. She was one of a kind, and never had a negative word for anybody. Always positive and always smiling. Always ready to go somewhere and do something. She loved to travel. She loved Las Vegas, and she loved her cruises. No matter how far she traveled, her generous love was close to home. At the end of the day, everyone close to her was put before herself. Most importantly she loved her family and friends. In her eyes, everyone was her family. Some would wonder how she had so much room in her heart. She was extremely greatful for everyone and everything. We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, and that warm embrace of hers. We will always remember how her smile could light up any room, and how her beautiful laugh could bring joy to anyone. Most of all, we will miss her company. You can never truly be ready to let someone so important go. No matter how much you think you may be prepared to lose someone, it is never truly easy. For the time she was here, we were blessed, and will continue to be blessed with so many lessons and her acts of love. She will be forever missed; however, never forgotten. In Liz's own words, "I had a good life and I wouldn't change a thing." Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Goodbyes are not forever and it is never truly the end, it simply means I miss you until we meet again. In loving memory, the one and only, Elizabeth Anne Boling.
