Cosimo "Casey" DeCarlo

February 20, 1934 - January 26, 2022

Cosimo “Casey” DeCarlo, 87 of Pueblo, born February 20, 1934, passed away Jan 26, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Sarah DeCarlo; in-laws, Paul & Nell Bobish; brother & sister in-law, Russ & Lucille DeCarlo. Casey was a life-long resident of the St. Charles Mesa where he lived on the 114 year old family farm. He graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1952. He attended and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1956 where he received a degree in Business Administration and Finance. Casey and Karen Bobish were married on Aug 26, 1967 and were married for 54 ½ years. They had 3 children, Kathleen (Jim) Harrison, Sam (Tiffany), and Ann Marie Hanzich. Casey had 7 grandchildren, Travis (Samantha) Keys, Trenton Keys, Troy (Danielle) Keys, Sarah & Joe DeCarlo, and Trey & Janaya Bell; and 3 step grandchildren, Jimmy, Alexa, & Lacey Harrison. Casey worked at CF&I and retired after 30 years. He continued farming until he was physically unable. Casey was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Family was very important to him. He supported all of his children and grandchildren in whatever they did. He loved to attend their sporting events or other activities they were involved in. Visitation will be 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Wed, Feb 2, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Thur, Feb 3, 2022 at St. Joseph Church with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. The service will also be livestreamed on Facebook @stjoespueblo. In lieu of food and flowers memorial contributions can be made in Casey’s honor to St Joseph Church, Pueblo Diocese, Poor Claire Sisters Convent, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
