Maria "Tina" Ernestina Luna

In Loving Memory of Maria (Tina) Ernestina Luna, who was born December 23, 1958, and passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 67. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Conferina (Gurule) Torres; three of her beloved children, Marlene, Bobby, and Joe Luna; her sister, Sharon (Torres) Martinez; her brother, Robert Torres; her nephews, Ernesto Lucero and Eric Torres; and brother-in-law Pancho Ramirez. She is survived by her loving children, Angelina Vasquez (Benji Vasquez), David Luna, and Justin Torres (Gabby Trujillo). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Nikki Gius, Ariel Trujillo, Marlene Luna, Mariah Vasquez, Joseph Luna, Monique Vasquez, Adreana Vasquez, Penelope Lucero, Riley Lucero, Christoper Vasquez, and Alicia Vasquez. She was also blessed with six cherished great-grandchildren: Emilio Trujillo, EJ Trujillo, Everlie Gius, Esme Gius, Legend Luna, LaylahAnna Luna all who brought endless joy to her life. Tina is also survived by her siblings, Beatrice Cervantes, Karen Torres, and Michael Torres (Brian Martinez), special nephew Damien Martinez- Torres, goddaughter Nevaeh Baca, in laws Juanita Torres and John Martinez, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. Tina found joy in the simple things in life. She loved gardening, reading, crocheting, beading, collecting keepsakes, listening to music, watching her favorite TV shows, talking with family and friends on the phone or in person, and spending time with those she loved most. Above all else, Tina was devoted to her family. She was the heart and matriarch of her family. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She never missed an opportunity to tell her children and grandchildren how proud she was of them, and she always put her family first. Her kindness, strength, faith, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the generations of family she loved so deeply. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Tina’s love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. A Viewing will be 11:00am, followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel.
