Daryk W. Froman

Daryk Froman, 34, died at the Joni Fair Hospice House surrounded by his wife, mother, father and sister on January 26th, 2023, following a nine-month battle with cancer. Daryk was born on July 12, 1988, at Saint Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. Daryk was the ultimate husband, father, son, brother, friend, and teacher. He was the anchor to any group he was involved with, and the calm through any storm. He held us together with a strong and sturdy hand, and a thoughtful heart. Daryk was a successful and well-liked teacher, coach, and colleague at Pueblo County High School for ten years. Through his determination and perseverance, he was able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in History from Colorado State University-Pueblo, a master’s degree in educational leadership, and his second master’s degree in educational instruction before the age of thirty. Daryk was proud to have been selected and was looking forward to serving as an Assistant Principal at County High School in the Fall of 2022 because he had worked very hard to achieve this goal to be able to expand his ability to impact the community of PCHS. Daryk loved being a teacher who helped kids learn and find their own perspectives in this world. Daryk loved many activities from going golfing with his friends or family, lifting weights in the gym, cooking, and most of all watching football (or any sport). Daryk loved being a father to his two boys, Grayson (4) and Sterling (1). He was always there to support them in anything they were doing. He never let his needs, wants, or pain hinder him from being there to support them. He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Heather; sons, Sterling and Grayson; parents, Robert and Marge Froman; sister, Bobie; brother, Ryan; father and mother In-law, Jay and Stephanie Guilliams; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. There will be a celebration of life held at Pueblo County High School in the main gym on February 10, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon.
