Constance "Connie" Stuart

In Loving memory of Constance Rose Stuart known affectionally as “Connie” passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 85 years old. Connie was born in Pueblo, Colorado to Frank and Mary Pavolasky. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Fred James Stuart. Connie is survived by her son, Frank Stuart; daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Vincent; former daughter In law, Lynne (Steve) Huskins; Grandchildren, Danielle Dunfee, Francesca Stuart ( Chris), Ashley (Tyler)Yates, and Zachary (Estefania) Stuart; Great Grandchildren, Gabrielle, Tavian, Jaidyn, Jameson, Kylie, Emerson, Josie, Takoda and Aspen; Sister, Darla (Don) McCoy and Mary Ann (Russell) Boice. Connie dedicated her life to doing good for others to an extreme measure. She was a devout Catholic and had a very special relationship with the Blessed Mother Mary. She prayed the rosary daily as well as attended daily mass for several years. Connie dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren She lived to know her great grandchildren as well. Connie earned a Bachelor’s degree from Western State University. Connie was a highly effective elementary school teacher for District 60 for 28 years. She knew how to make students feel valued, visible and loved. Connie made the difference in hundreds of children’s lives during the 28 years she spent in public education. Upon Connie’s retirement she and her husband Fred traveled extensively throughout many countries. She had very fond memories of the wonderful places they went during their travel. Connie and Fred spent many years taking care of their 5 grandchildren. This proved to be one of the greatest of all gifts that she could give to the grandchildren. She cultivated in each of them a sense of confidence, wisdom and compassion. She would take time to play and read to them. Connie was blessed to have 9 great grandchildren whose lives were blessed by her presence and love. Connie became known affectionately as G. G. Up until her passing away she would sing and chant Nursey Rhymes with them. Connie was loved extensively by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she felt that love every day. Connie was proud that her son Frank and daughter Cheryl both followed her legacy of working in the educational world. Connie lived life to the fullest! Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, November 21st at Roselawn Funeral Home.
