Cash Ryan Blanchfield

Cash Ryan Blanchfield born on January 15, 2016 and left this earth to become his momma’s guardian angel on April 11, 2025. He is survived by his parents Amanda and Ryan Blanchfield and his sister Audrina Blanchfield. He was the wittiest, orneriest, loving little fighter that anyone could ever know. He loved all the colors of the rainbow (and he always made sure they were lined up in the correct order) he knew every shape imaginable (most of us didn’t know the names of) he loved toy fruits and vegetables, making smoothies, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, especially toodles and the shows infamous Mousekedoer. He loved to make his mom special surprise meals and treats and create the spiciest entrées to trick his dad into eating. He loved to fight with and annoy his sister, but when he was feeling good, they were partners in crime. She loves him with all her heart, and is the most compassionate caring and loving sister we could ever ask for for our sweet boy. Cash loved to build contraptions and ball runs. He had a strong love for gears and clocks but especially cuckoo clocks and grandfather clocks. He even ordered himself an $1800 cuckoo clock off his mom’s amazon account from Germany. His favorite animal was a mouse. I think he has every toy mouse that was ever made. We would regularly find him playing with his mice and his clocks singing Hickory Dickory Dock. Anytime Cash would get a poke he'd earn a cuss word and take the opportunity and come up with most original wittiest versions of the F word. The love of his life is and will forever be his momma and the bond the two have is like no other. Every single time she'd come home from work he insisted on meeting her in the garage when she pulled in and wait for “the hug” and If he missed "the hug" it would ruin his day. Mom would always call when she was driving up our street to let Cash know she was close and dad would say "white jeep" and Cash would run to his spot and wait. Cash and his Dad spent many hours playing Roblox and custom making any toy Cash thought up that wasn’t available to purchase. The kid would be an excellent entrepreneur/engineer in the toy making business. The toys he’d ask us to get him were almost never something available to purchase so his dad would think up a way to make exactly what Cash was imagining. Cash would say “Dad, I can’t believe you built this for me, but I love mom”. He is preceded in death by our hero, Ellianna Sophia Matus-Carrillo, the beautiful little girl whose donated heart gave us 9 amazing years with our son. He is loved by so many, including but not limited to his Grandma Connie and Grandpa Russ, his Nammie and Papa, his Aunt Megan and Uncle Rick, his Uncle Rob and Aunt Bonnie, and his cousins Hailey, Brady, Kennedy and Hank. And so, so many other family members, teachers, classmates, friends, his transplant team, his oncology team and many doctors and nurses. Those striking blue eyes stole everyone’s heart and he touched the lives of so many people. We would also like to thank the men and woman of South Metro Fire. They volunteered to cover Ryan’s shifts for Cash’s entire battle, 11 full months. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, April 18, 2025 at Pueblo County High School. A reception will follow in the commons area at County High School. At the families request wear Cash’s favorite color red.
